In every household and in every school children learn and sing nursery rhymes. It forms a great source of pleasure for the kids, the teachers and the parents. When the kids perform on the stage singing ‘Bits of paper…’, ‘Ringa ringa roses…’, ‘Baa baa black sheep’, One experiences an uplifting feeling. One is transported back to those innocent days. However, after learning these in my young days, teaching to my children and now the grandchildren I wonder these are not rhymes just to enjoy, but perhaps to interpret their inner lovely messages.
